Now you can add extra water and stain resistance to your Red Oxx bags with Scotchgard Heavy Duty Water Shield Spray-on protection. All Red Oxx bags are naturally water resistant due to the poly coating on the inside of the CORDURA® Nylon fabric. But for that little bit of extra protection we recommend Scotchgard Water Shield.
Scotchgard won't affect the color of your bag and will help protect it from stains like wine, fruit juice, inks, motor oils, and acrylic paints. Scotchgard is guaranteed to repel rain, snow and moisture. It creates a durable barrier to water that keeps your gear drier longer.

Coverage per can varies with fabric type, typically about 50 square feet for CORDURA® brand nylon fabric to about 30 square feet for Ballistic nylon. Easy clean up with rubbing alcohol. Reapply after washing/cleaning your gear.
Directions:
Shake can well. Apply to clean, dry bags or gear. Spray with slow sweeping motion 6-8 inches away from your bag. Cover the outside surface of your bag uniformly, but do not saturate.
Protect other nearby surfaces from over-spray. Should over-spray occur, wipe down area quickly with paper towel.
Reapply seasonally or after cleaning to maintain water resistance. Allow bag to dry completely before using.
