Can The Hound EDC Bag be used for a carry-on personal item?
The Hound makes a wonderful carry-on personal item. It's sized just right for carrying on your person, keeping important items like wallet, passport and phone at hand.
What does EDC mean?
EDC is an acronym for Every Day Carry, a popular new market segment that defines the importance of bringing along certain items that you use daily.
Why did you add such large zippers?
The YKK Vislon self-locking zippers add a level of security not possible with coil zippers. These zippers cannot be forced open with a pen, like coil zippers can.
Why is the strap so long?
The bag was designed for side carry, over the shoulder cross body carry, or swing it around by hand. One could even carry like a fanny pack. The adjustable strap accommodates all these options.
Why was the strap changed?
The first users when The Hound was released as a Red Eye Collective Special Edition felt that the hardware was "too much, too heavy, too big and too noisy. Lead Designer Lacy found a smaller, lighter, quieter clip and updated the strap material to Nylon webbing, which is softer, smoother, better looking, and won't fray over time.
Are there any interior pockets?
The Hound EDC Bag contains one small slip interior pockets sized for holding a phone, camera, wallet, passport, sunglasses, or Kindle/small tablet.
