I purchased this bag specifically for a trip to Antarctica. It is great. I took this bag and one other for a 3 week trip. The other was carrying back all of the stuff I would acquire on the way there and back again. This bag held it all, including some of the gear that I would need for camping and mountaineering in the Antarctica wilderness. Best investment I made in 2008.

Truly ''Build like a tank''. This is my 2nd Shepa Jr. - and what I find amazing is that even after quite some travel (I travel 5-10 days each month), the bag still looks like new.

I love this bag. It was a bit expensive but worth it. It's sturdy and made with quality materials. The cinching mechanism on the bag lets us pack a huge amount of stuff into a very small space compared to duffel bags or suitcases. It easily fits all the clothes for a week for two adults and a toddler into our thule force XL cargo box. The backpack straps make it manageable to lift...

Just got back from my first hunting trip to Africa. I chose this item as the single piece of luggage that I took. I couldn't be happier. It has more than enough room for what I needed including clothing, boots, ammo and a soft gun case. It looks great and is tough as nails. If you buy one you wont be disappointed. Even airline baggage handlers couldn't damage it.
