Heat, sand, sweat. No problem. Gear is good to go. Dan Dyk has sent us this photo of his Red Oxx gear on location in Niger Republic.
Jim,
This was last May, just after landing in Galmi, Niger Republic in order to address community health programs in villages.
The fellow with the white turban is from the Tuareg people group, traditionally nomadic Sahara desert herdsmen and traders.
The PR5 Safari Beanos fits well in the nose compartment of the Cessna Caravan, and the Roadster Rucksack is with me at all times, carrying computer, meds, energy food, essentials.
Extra water is in Tote bag. It's about 115 degrees at Galmi.

Congratulations, Dan. Sounds like an ice cooler is in order, but that might be a tight fit in the Cessna.
